So last week the temperature dropped into the high 40's/low 50's for a few days here and I could not have been happier! Sorry, my friends from up north. Part of the reason why I love when the temperature drops is that I get to bring out my cool weather pieces that I would not otherwise be able to wear.
Case in point is this faux leather jacket from James and Co. It's warm but not heavy, is perfect for layering, and also adds a little edge to any outfit. I love the downtown vibe of this whole look. A little tough, a little biker, and definitely a little chic.

I was so excited when I received this gorgeous top from The Mint Julep Boutique last Friday that I wore it that same night! It's made of a slightly sheer fabric and has a great flowy fit that is so pretty and feminine. Because the top is on the looser side, I paired it with skinnies to balance things out. A bright colored necklace and an eye-catching animal print clutch, and I'm ready for drinks and dinner- which is exactly where I wore this outfit!

We shot this look right in our neighborhood, at the sales center for a new high rise that's currently under construction here on Brickell called The Bond. The Bond is an homage to all things British, and being that this girl loves London, I simply could not resist!

Good morning, everyone! I'm very excited to be participating in the KIND Snacks' 24 Random Acts of Kindness that is taking place in Miami today!
While you may already be familiar with their delicious snacks, what you may not know is that an integral part of KIND’s DNA is collaborating with our community to help make the world a little kinder.
As such, today, the KIND team will perform 24 acts of kindness, one to represent each hour of this day. These acts will range from delivering food and toys to local animal shelters in the Aventura area, to purchasing a coffee for the person behind in line, and will take place from6:30am-5pm.
Whether you live in the Miami area or not, I challenge you to participate in this effort by performing some random acts of kindness yourself. It could be something as simple as paying a genuine compliment, holding a door, leaving an extra tip to your server, or maybe buying your co-worker lunch.

The combination of gray, white, and camel, in my book, is definitely a winning one. Neutrals by nature, these three colors seem to live harmoniously together without upstaging one another.

Now, on to this look. You know how sometimes you wake up and your hair is just not cooperating at all, but you just don't want to wash it? Well, this was one of those days. Normally, I would have worn a hat, but I just wasn't feeling it with this outfit, so....this is the outcome. Again, reality! ;-)

Is it just me, or do you sometimes also find yourself reminded of a person (whether real or fictional character) the minute you see yourself in a particular outfit? Well, this happens to me quite often.
When I saw myself in this getup, right away I thought- JLo! Now, I am NOT saying that I look like her (in this look, or any other for that matter) in any way, shape, or form. Did I even need to explainthat?! I'm just saying, it's the whole feel and vibe of the outfit that reminds me of her. I guess it's the (faux) fur, high ponytail, and gold hoops!
